Laska Parrow is the Owner and Head Trainer with over 22 years of experience in positive reinforcement animal training. Growing up, Laska trained her cat basic obedience skills and leash walking. Her passion for animal training led to fostering and training dogs, starting in 2000 with assistance dogs and expanding to pet dog training in 2003. For 7 years, Laska taught at the local humane society, providing reactive and fearful dog classes as well as in-home training for cats and other small animals. She is nationally recognized as the first trainer in America to successfully train a dog to sniff out Covid-19 on someone, prior to testing. Her work has been featured in numerous publications and news outlets around the world.
Laska is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and an Associate Nose Work Instructor (ANWI). She has a passion for K9 Nose Work and enjoys working with both dogs and cats. Laska also enjoys participating in obedience competitions, agility, nose work, and animal assisted therapy work with her four large dogs and one cat.
Laska's training method relies on positive reinforcement, avoiding the use of e-collars. She rewards good behaviors and ignores or prevents bad behaviors, allowing animals to learn and repeat behaviors that receive rewards.
Laska offers a range of services including reactivity, obedience, scent work, Covid-19 scent work, day training, service dog training, therapy dog training, and behavior modification. She is eager to speak and work with clients soon.

Great work! These experts are definitely worth the investment. They provide on-site assistance with dog training. Barry thoroughly enjoyed the training sessions and adapted to the methods with ease. I opted out of the final session since Barry was doing so well and I had gained enough understanding to maintain our progress. I highly recommend their services!

Laska (and James 😉) were a joy to work with! Our furry friend Moxie adored Laska, affectionately calling her the treat/cookie lady. With Laska's guidance, we were able to quickly train Moxie to follow commands and maintain her progress with the invaluable tools she provided us. We're so impressed that we've already recommended All Ears to our neighbors and enthusiastically endorse their services!

Laska has a deep understanding of the qualities necessary to become a skilled dog trainer. Her amicability, affability, and punctuality serve humans well, while her patience, sensitivity to dogs' pace, and ample supply of treats benefit furry friends. Each week, Laska sets practical training objectives that progressively increase in difficulty. She sends out "homework" promptly and clearly elucidates all necessary details. Her introductory literature on the significance of positive training and the principles of dog psychology excellently provided the building blocks for subsequent lessons. Before commencing training, Laska conducts a thorough 1.5 hour consultation to ensure that everyone's needs are met.

Our encounter with All Ears Training has been exceptional! As dog lovers in a new town, we sought to establish a dependable support system to aid in taking care of our furry friend. We required an individual who possessed traits such as approachability, professionalism, promptness, active listening skills, and easy communication to reach amicable agreements. All of these traits were present in the remarkable team at All Ears Training, and we plan to continue utilizing their services in the future as we seek to settle down in Sarasota.
