I am Alexandra Harris and I am the proud proprietor of Alex Harris Wedding and Event Photography and Home Baby Photos. Photography has been my lifelong passion. My tryst with it began when I purchased my first camera. I went on a clicking spree, capturing everything from wildflowers in my backyard to my neighbor riding dirt bikes. And, to this day, I continue to capture anything that catches my fancy.

My artistic inclination towards photography led me to train at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. There I got an opportunity to work under two Master Photographers of Professional Photographers of America. Their mentorship instilled a love for portrait photography in me. In 2010, I did my first wedding shoot and that's when I knew that there was no looking back. Since then, I have expanded my portfolio to include weddings, events, family portraits, and senior high school portraits.

I pride myself on being an affordable photographer who delivers clean and natural images that encapsulate your precious moments. It gives me immense pleasure to collaborate with you and be a part of your special day!

The performance of Alex during my wedding was remarkable! Without delay, she promptly attended to all my needs and made sure everything was well-organized beforehand. I was at ease leading up to the wedding due to her exceptional preparation. My partner and I are not fond of taking photographs, but she made the experience a delightful and simple one. UPDATE: It turns out that Alex was involved in a car accident and was unable to reach out as she was hospitalized. Recently, she contacted me privately to share this information, and I am modifying my review accordingly. Once available, she does respond promptly and is a pleasant person to communicate with. Unfortunately, deleting reviews is not possible on CrackerJack. Therefore, I am updating it with the new information. My apologies to Alex. I approached AlexHarris for wedding photography on short notice, considering my partner’s mother's illness. I specifically informed her about the limited notice, but emphasized that it would be an intimate event. She promptly replied that she was available and asked for a phone call schedule. Unfortunately, when I tried calling, her phone was unreachable. I even left her a voicemail, texted her and messaged her on Thumbtack, but she didn't respond. So, I ended up hiring another photographer. Although the few interactions that I had with her were positive, I felt let down by her lack of communication. It would have been better if she had informed me of her inability to work within my timeline. Nonetheless, she seems to be a friendly person.
