Cara was amazing and highly knowledgeable! We sought her assistance with our 4-month-old puppy, who needed help with potty training, biting, and jumping. Cara adeptly explained the reasons behind the pup's behavior and offered effective redirection techniques. As a result, I gained newfound confidence. It's worth noting that if you're hoping to receive training support, Cara will guide you and provide knowledge during the training session. However, post-session effort will be necessary to address any issues. Despite being a hands-on trainer, Cara gave me direction when needed. We are so pleased with her expertise that we have scheduled another session to work with both our son and our puppy.

Cara is an incredible dog trainer. I recently adopted a puppy that's half lab, half red heeler, and she's quite energetic. Despite watching countless youtube videos and following expert advice, I wasn't making much progress. Many of the video tutorials seemed to feature well-trained dogs, which didn't align with my reality. Seeking help, I connected with Active Paw, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. Cara is professional, punctual, and very insightful. She takes the time to understand my real-life situations and demonstrates exactly what I need to do. Using positive reinforcement training, Cara taught me how to correct my puppy's bad behaviors and explained why she was acting out. Thanks to her excellent guidance, my puppy Kimchi is now well on her way to being potty-trained and readily stays in her crate. Cara also addressed all my email inquiries with useful information for first-time puppy owners. If you're struggling like I was, I highly recommend Cara's services.

Starting is tough, so let's get to the point. Cara is simply AMAZING!!! Luckily, we discovered Cara and Active Paws when we needed them most. As first-time dog owners, Cara perfectly comprehends both us and our furry companion, Roxie. Her approach involves teaching positive reinforcement through "clicker training," which makes absolute sense.
