I cannot praise Za highly enough for his exceptional services. To give you an overview, we had a leak in a pipe hidden behind the walls of our old house, which was causing water to collect in the lower level. Despite consulting a plumbing firm with a solid 50-person team and excellent customer reviews, who charged us $500 to run a camera down the pipe and diagnose the issue, the exorbitant estimate of $1,680 (starting with covering the furniture with a plastic tarp and cutting through the drywall) seemed too steep. When we asked for the camera footage the next day, they had neglected to save it and claimed that we should have requested it in advance. We were disappointed with their lack of professionalism and decided to seek other options. We discovered Za through CrackerJack, explained the situation, and he promptly gave us a free estimate, advised us on what not to waste our money on, and brought in his cousin (a master plumber) to handle the extensive job. Together, they carefully cut into the drywall only where necessary to locate the cast-iron mainline behind the walls, which was leaking water. Contrary to the first plumber's assumption, the feeder pipe was not damaged, and this was established by cutting into the drywall from the ceiling. Za scrutinized the mainline cautiously, identifying the source of the leakage and replacing the damaged section with 3" PVC. They finished the job in a single day and did a lot more--picking up and installing a brand-new toilet from Home Depot (and removing the old one), descaling the feeder line and mainline, cleaning the line from the house to the street, replacing the fill, sealing a leaky PVC pipe beneath the laundry tub, and also giving us suggestions on installing an undercounter water purifier. They worked rapidly, with care—being meticulous in moving furniture, rolling up the carpet, and using drop cloths to avoid damage. Za is an empathetic individual who tries to understand his client's concerns and presents them with honest options. His cousin is equally skilled and honest. Their charges were reasonable, considering the extent of the job and the expertise invested, unlike the large company with multiple staff, overheads, and additional services that we didn't need.

Within less than a day of reaching out, Za successfully removed an obstruction in my primary drainage system at a much lower cost than other plumbers had quoted. I will probably seek his plumbing expertise again down the line. Many thanks, Za!
