I have been dedicated to caring for animals for twenty-five years, finding it an immensely fulfilling experience to share my life and home with these beautiful creatures. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting and spending time with many animals and their owners.
To begin with, let me address the business side of things so that you can make an informed decision about my services. I am located in Palm Springs, and offer local dog walking and cat visits within the primary area of Palm Springs zip code 92262, and occasionally Southern Palm Springs in the 92264 zip code. I am willing to drive up to fifteen minutes to reach your location.
My rates are $30 per half-hour visit with a dog or cat for pet care, and start at $100 for house sitting, which involves me staying at your home throughout the day and night. If you require someone to take care of your animal in your own home, I am available for $150 per day/night. I do not negotiate my rates and only accept cash payments.
During the summer months, I will not keep any animal outside for more than 15-20 minutes and will instead play indoors with your pup for the remainder of the time.
As for myself, I had the privilege of spending my life with four beloved animals who have since passed on - Shiva the Black Labrador, Antonio the Chihuahua, Inky the Cat, and Elvis the Green Iguana. Through them, I was fortunate enough to meet other animals and their owners, with many of my clients being people I've known in the neighbourhood for years.
While I was unable to care for pets in their own homes before due to my own animals and others staying with me during the day, I am now available for house sitting following my cat's recent passing. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.
