The responsibility for the problem partially falls on me as I failed to request a written statement of work that would have contained all the necessary details, including the type of paints required. Furthermore, the walkthrough was conducted later in the day, making it difficult to identify certain defects that were more conspicuous in bright sunlight. The primary issue was the incorrect purchase of the paint finish - I wanted a non-glossy finish but the project manager advocated for eggshell, which I eventually acquiesced to. During the walkthrough, I raised concern about the glossy nature of the paint and was assured it would dry flat. However, after examining the leftover paint can, it was clear that the finish was actually satin. Despite reaching out to the owner who purchased the paint, he failed to provide a solution for the issue or even reply to my subsequent inquiries. Moreover, the quality of the paint job was subpar, as the dark color under the painted surface bled through on one of the walls. Due to the unresponsiveness of the owner, I was forced to repaint the wall myself. I regret not discussing these issues with the other owner who I believed would have been more receptive to my concerns.

The team consisting of Jeff, Sue, and their colleagues were superb. Their work was of top-notch quality, deserving a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. We highly recommend their services to anyone in need. They were extremely professional, neat, reliable, and went above and beyond the call of duty to fulfill all of our requests. They successfully removed the outdated popcorn ceilings from every corner of our residence and efficiently painted both the interior and exterior of our abode. They exhibited a strong sense of pride in their craft and took exceptional care of our property, treating it with the same respect as if it were their own. We'll undoubtedly miss having them around as they were a wonderful company and fantastic crew. If there arises a need for any future painting or home improvement projects, we will undoubtedly employ their services again.
