The estimate for the roof replacement was inaccurate and the final cost turned out to be 40% higher due to the omission of important material costs. As the replacement was carried out outside of my home state, I had agreed to receive photographs of the finished roof. However, despite requesting for them three times, the contractor, who was paid in full two months ago, has failed to submit any proof of the completion of the replacement. To aggravate matters, the basic terms of the new roof's warranty have also not been provided.
