As my daughter's first birthday party since COVID approached, I aimed for perfection. Ashley and Derek stood out among the crowds with their prompt and professional responses to my many pre-contract queries, and their friendly nature. It was an easy decision working with them, and I have no regrets. Despite having to change the timing and duration of the event twice due to unexpected circumstances, they were patient and accommodating. Although they had worked the night before the big day, they arrived on time and greeted us with enthusiasm while providing suggestions for photos. In contrast to past experiences with other photographers who needed instruction, this time, Ashley readily identified ideal moments and responded swiftly. Even while photographing a group of seven-year-olds, who were high on sugar, she worked efficiently and kept the session lively. The most impressive aspect of working with 7th Tree was how skillfully Derek remained out of the way and blended in with the surroundings. Even in videos taken by others, he appeared to be present and absent simultaneously. This was particularly crucial with a range of entertainment, including lion dancers who quickly caught and held attention. Despite their hectic movements and interaction with guests around a confined space, Derek skillfully captured every angle while maintaining a safe distance.
