I installed approximately 144 square feet of flooring. Overall, the job appeared satisfactory, but the flooring at the door was uneven, causing a crooked transition. The installer promised to return and fix it, but never followed through. While he talked a good game and appeared knowledgeable, unlicensed workers without proper follow-up can be problematic without legal recourse. It is essential to hire licensed workers, many of whom are available on this T.T. site. Ensure that workers and their employees have insurance coverage to prevent potential liability for injuries. The California State Licensing Board has a website that allows people to check license and insurance information. To be safe, always check identification and have a detailed contract detailing the work, payment schedule, etc. Good luck with your home renovations, as even licensed contractors may engage in unscrupulous activities.

My condo remodel was done exceptionally well by Gerardo and his team! Initially, I planned only to renovate the flooring and deal with the remainder later, but they managed to finish everything from the sink, countertops and electrical work to painting, installing hardware and appliances, all within the estimated timeline. I couldn't have hoped for a better crew to collaborate with! Additionally, they accommodated my busy schedule and provided timely progress updates. I would happily hire them again! The transformation from before and after is astounding 🙌🏾
