After reaching out to Sia, we agreed on a specific time and date for her to provide me with a quote, which we finalized after discussing the price and scope of work, as well as agreeing on a completion date. The crew arrived on schedule as planned and began by removing my old cement driveway before excavating for the new forms. With my driveway being expanded by over 6 feet in width, the team was well ahead of schedule, having prepped everything with forms staked and rebar tied, ready for the cement pour. Everything went smoothly, with the team pouring and cleaning up on Tuesday, marking off the area with caution tape for safety. However, I was disappointed when the crew failed to remove the form and stakes, which was a part of the agreed-upon work. This led me to give a 4-star rating, despite the crew's excellent product and service. I'm still waiting for them to remove the formwork and stakes, and I only have the cones that were used for securing the caution tape, implying there may have been an accident. Nonetheless, their work is of the highest quality, and I'd recommend them despite the lack of form cleanup. While they may be pricier than other service providers, their work is worth it. As a Certified Building Inspector, Carpenter, Stationary Engineer of 20 years, and a lifelong backyard mechanic, I have an excellent understanding of the job, and I can state that their workmanship is top-notch.
