Annie Darlin Gordon

Greetings! My name is Annie, and I am a professional classical flutist with 25 years of experience. For the past 12 years, I have also been dedicated to sharing my knowledge with students. As a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and Carnegie Mellon University with degrees in Flute Performance, I have had the opportunity to perform in various orchestras and ensembles worldwide.

Teaching is a personal passion of mine, and I believe in providing quality instruction while having fun during lessons. I understand that each student requires a unique approach, which is why I customize my teaching philosophies to suit individual needs. For instance, if a student intends to pursue music professionally, I provide them with the necessary tools, while for beginners or those seeking music enrichment, I create a fun and engaging learning program. In addition, I have taught flute, clarinet, and oboe to students at MYCincinnati Youth Orchestra, a program close to my heart, for seven years.

I offer lessons, both in-person and virtually through Zoom to students in the Greater Cincinnati Area. With every first-time student, I provide a free introductory 30-minute lesson, allowing us to evaluate if we make a great teacher-student match. My lesson rates are as follows after the initial session. Kindly contact me for a personalized rate if you require a reduced fee.

In-person lessons at my home studio in Cincinnati:
- Full hour: $50
- Half hour: $30

Lessons via Zoom:
- Full hour: $50
- Half hour: $30

In-person lessons at your home in Cincinnati/NKY area:
- Full hour: $65-75 (depending on location)
- Half hour: Not available.
