Baker's Carpet Cleaning

Starting in 1974, I began carpet cleaning to sustain myself while I sold Electrolux vacuum cleaners door-to-door in Maine and pursued my goal of becoming a minister. After graduating and moving to New Hampshire, I pastored a small church while continuing to clean carpets. I eventually relocated to Minnesota, where I worked as a bus driver until 1992, when I founded Baker's Cleaning Systems.

Around 2014, I felt ready to retire and assisted a friend who bought my business. However, my expertise in carpet cleaning still garnered requests from others, prompting me to resume my passion, now with a focus on aiding Bikes4KidsMN. I also enjoy biking myself and recently completed a fundraising bike trip from Minnesota to Upper Michigan while camping along the way. It's the perfect balance--I have fun cleaning carpets and combine it with my love of cycling.
