About
Having been a teacher for more than two decades, I have introduced students to various musical genres, namely classical, pop, blues, and jazz. Along with instructing, I also perform as a jazz soloist. I completed my education at the College of New Rochelle and Manhattan School of Music (continuing education) and am a member of the National Association of Music Teachers.My instruction revolves around reading, technique, music theory, and ear training. With a vast experience in teaching individuals from three to ninety-nine years old, I strive to create engaging and relevant lessons that align with your musical objectives. Additionally, I hold an annual recital in June in Stamford, urging all students to participate.
The lessons I offer are structured in increments of thirty, forty-five, or sixty minutes, available as both physical and remote (SKYPE/ZOOM) sessions.

Gab Kallay has been an exceptional piano instructor for my daughter for over 5 years. Seeing my daughter develop into a classical pianist under his guidance has been a great pleasure. For almost three years, my eight-year-old son has been taking lessons with Gab, whom we find very accommodating. She always confirms the lesson in the morning and comes to our house, which is incredibly convenient. Gab is a low-key person who relates well with children, without exerting pressure on them to practice or perform. Her approach has been instrumental in my son's tremendous progress, and most importantly, he thoroughly enjoys playing the piano. Sometimes he even requests songs for particular holidays that he wants to play. We are grateful that Gab has helped him cultivate an appreciation for music, and we take pleasure in hearing him play in our home. We are delighted that he is able to read music and play the instrument with ease.

Before moving to Germany, my daughter had piano lessons with Gab Kallay and had a great time during the classes. Gab was not only patient but also very meticulous in her teaching. After relocating to Germany, my daughter became a member of the school band and still enjoys playing music.

With Gabriella's assistance, I was able to determine the appropriate key for my solo performance. She exhibited meticulousness as she patiently accompanied me through my various key options, and was willing to repeat the process as many times as necessary. As a result of her efforts, we ultimately settled on the ideal key for my performance. Additionally, I have been receiving piano lessons from Gabriella and she has proven to be an exceptional teacher, rendering piano playing a trouble-free activity. I strongly endorse Gabriella.
