Eric was hired to perform necessary repairs on a 150-year-old house that was being renovated for sale. The house has plaster and lath throughout, the old kind with horsehair. Initially, Eric bid on the repairs based on the pictures the client sent through CrackerJack. Although the images only showed the worst areas requiring attention, Eric and his team proved impressive by completing an outstanding job on the severe damage, including the ceiling caving in, water damage from old leaks, plaster coming down, and stress cracks. Moreover, they went beyond their tasks by fixing various other degrees of cracks and damage. Eric and his crew, including Gary, Mick, and Micah, were friendly, professional, and proficient. Eric is an enjoyable conversationalist and knowledgeable about plastering because his family previously operated a plastering business. What stood Eric apart was his exceptional judgment and knowledge of what is best for each situation. He used the right tool for every job, producing great results while keeping costs low. Remarkably, his final charge was a mere fraction of what other plasterers estimated. The bedroom with part of the ceiling caving in now looks brand new, perhaps the best it has looked in a century. The living room with water damage and 10.5-foot-high ceilings has a fresh appearance, and the chimney with peeling paint due to moisture leaking down the brickwork looks fantastic, among other areas. In conclusion, I highly recommend Eric and his team for any plastering work. On a side note, I do not know why CrackerJack turns all the pictures upside down! : )
