As a consequence of Covid, my spouse and I had to change our plans from a grand wedding of over 200 people to a more intimate ceremony with just twelve attendees. We decided on the Fragrance Garden at The Morton Arboretum as the venue for our ceremony, and the recommendation for our musical entertainment was Jim. Without a doubt, hiring Jim was the optimal choice we made. His music truly elevated our small, impromptu wedding into a memory that can be cherished for a lifetime. Jim took the time to learn some of our favorite songs, including our first dance and processional song. The sound of his acoustic version of The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" wafting through the garden as I walked towards my husband brought tears to our eyes. Jim's timing was impeccable as well, commencing his set as our beloved guests set up the decor, continuing through the ceremony, and concluding after our family photos. Our guests unanimously agreed that Jim's music tied everything together beautifully. I wholeheartedly recommend Jim to those planning an event, be it big or small. When we initially planned our wedding at a large venue, we were considering a DJ for our music; however, having now experienced the magic of Jim's music, we are glad that our big plans had to change.
