Barefoot & Beautiful Remodeling

In December of 2021, Anthony performed work on our basement floor and steps. He removed old tiles, used concrete to level the surface, and installed a new floor. During the process, he discovered a pipe opening that had been filled with concrete by previous owners, which was causing drainage issues in the event of a flooded basement. He unblocked the pipe, and initially, we were pleased with the outcome. However, after about nine months, we noticed that the step trims were beginning to peel off, posing a safety hazard. Adhesive was coming off of at least five steps, leading to significant gaps and the trims shifting around. Despite only two of us residing in the household, the steps started to deteriorate quickly. In October of 2022, we contacted Anthony to resolve the issue. He initially responded by stating that he would fix the steps, with the cost of supplies on us. Unfortunately, we have not heard back from him since, leading us to lower our review. We are hoping that the basement floor will hold up better than the steps.

Anthony displayed exceptional professionalism and ensured that our wall was repaired before installing the moulding, guaranteeing future maintenance-free operation. If future work arises, I will undoubtedly re-engage his services.

The installation of plank flooring in my living room was carried out by Anthony, who executed the job with remarkable finesse. I am thoroughly pleased with the outcome of his work and would definitely contemplate enlisting his services again if another floor project arose in the future.

Anthony embodies all the qualities of an exceptional contractor. His enthusiasm for his work is unmatched, and he refuses to compromise his reputation by taking shortcuts or doing only half the job. Right from the beginning, his commitment to the project was evident, and he worked tirelessly to negotiate with suppliers, treating the assignment like it was his own home. Antony's vast knowledge of products and his attention to even the smallest of details resulted in an artistic finish on the flooring that earned compliments from all of our guests. In addition to the flooring project, Anthony undertook complete remodeling of two bathrooms in our home, which included installing ceramic tub surround and new vanities and toilets. Remarkably, he even considered the smallest aspects, such as ensuring that the unaffected floor promoted easy future remodeling of the bathroom. Despite his intensive schedule, he was always willing to lend a helping hand with other household projects. Words seem insufficient to applaud the efficiency of Anthony Mundt and Barefoot and Beautiful. Admittedly, he may not be the most economical option out there, but he is worth every penny invested.
