Seattle Moving Services is here to assist with all of your relocation requirements. We offer a comprehensive all-inclusive service package that includes 2 trained movers, as well as a 16’, 22’, or 26’ truck (depending on your necessities) at a reasonable hourly rate. The chargeable time starts when our movers arrive at your present location and concludes when they finish at your new location. Our prices are transparent, and we can offer up to 10 additional movers for an additional $50 per hour for each mover. Our pricing covers a range of features, including professional packing and unpacking, a furniture protective pad, unlimited scotch tape, stretch wrap, dollies, hand trucks, and up to four wardrobe boxes for the duration of your move. Please keep in mind that any item over 250lbs, such as pianos, large safes, pool tables, fridges, or anything deemed excessively heavy, may incur an additional charge. We are licensed and insured, and our hourly rate includes a basic valuation of $0.60 per pound per item moved. Please provide us with a list of items that need to be relocated, and if possible, share pictures with us via the "Attach" feature. We regret that we are unable to move any flammable items such as gas, propane tanks, or liquids due to potential safety risks.

I engaged SMS to move my one-bedroom apartment within the same building. Artem from their office was highly responsive on CrackerJack and over the phone, which gave me the confidence to book their services a week in advance. As expected, two movers arrived during the afternoon window, found parking despite Capitol Hill's hustle and bustle, surveyed both apartments, and immediately commenced moving my belongings. They worked so efficiently that I struggled to keep pace with pointing out where to place things. To my sheer delight, they effortlessly dismantled and reassembled my king-size bed frame and couch and even lugged the couch upstairs when it couldn't fit in the elevator. But what struck me most was their warmth and helpfulness, offering to reposition furniture to my liking. They completed the move within 2.5 hours, and I have no reservations engaging SMS (with Chris and his colleague as movers) again in the future. Thanks, SMS!

Seattle Moving Services was hired to relocate us from a 2 BR townhouse to a 3 BR house. The initial estimate was for 3-5 hours with 3 movers based on the furniture questionnaire, however, the move ended up taking approximately 8 and a half hours. Our move included a lot of items and required two round trips with a 17 ft truck. The movers did an excellent job by placing most of our belongings in their respective rooms except for the last hour, where they placed the moderate items with boxes in one room. This was understandable as they were getting tired and had another project to move on to. The movers also assisted us in moving a king-size mattress through a narrow stairway. Luckily, all our belongings were delivered safely without any damage except for a few scratches on the new hardwood floor that was installed just two days before. Overall, we are satisfied with the services provided by Seattle Moving Services and would surely recommend them.
