Desi Galli Catering

To satisfy the craving for Indian soul food among the Desi community, I founded this restaurant. Despite my father warning my future husband that I lacked cooking skills, I taught myself to prepare not only my mother's traditional dishes but also my husband's family favorites. After countless trials and errors, I impressed Vishal and he encouraged me to open a restaurant.

Since May 2012, Desi Galli has been operating successfully, with our second location in East Village and our signature dish, Desipoutine. We have successfully catered to an extensive range of events and weddings, including Diwali parties for Priyanka Chopra, Madonna's concerts, and Madison Square Garden's private boxes. Our corporate clientele includes top firms like J.P. Morgan, Citibank, Credit Suisse, and Barclays.

The happiness my food brings to my customers is my biggest motivation. I enjoy cooking for people and want to offer a taste that reminds them of their parents' cooking and home.
