About
Greetings! I go by Jon Stetes and I have been providing dog care services to the DC, Maryland and Virginia regions for a span of eight years. I had the opportunity to attend a three-month training program five years ago, an experience that instilled in me knowledge from the top-notch experts in the field. As a certified trainer, I am adept in all training methodologies and acknowledge that each canine has a distinct personality - thus, I allot ample time to understand both the needs of your dog and yours. Over the years, I have catered to hundreds of furry friends of all breeds and sizes. My principal aspiration is to furnish you with that reassurance you seek when it comes to owning a pet and contribute to the happiness of both you and your four-legged companion :-).

I sought out Jon for an assessment of my newly adopted Labrador mix, Dex. Dex posed a few challenges: he would pull hard on his leash, jump on people, possessed a lot of energy, and didn't respond well to commands. During the evaluation, Jon was meticulous with his questions and thoroughly addressed my concerns. He assured me that these issues could be resolved and I immediately enrolled in his private lessons course. In just two sessions, Dex showed signs of improvement. He was walking better on his leash, and seemed to be more responsive overall. Jon was patient and helpful with both Dex and myself throughout the learning process. He answered all my queries and offered numerous tips and tricks for being a responsible dog owner. Since completing the course, Dex has shown much improvement and is frequently praised for his good behavior. Moreover, I entrusted his care to Jon when I went out of town and was confident that Dex was in good hands. Even years later, Jon still warmly answers any dog-related questions that I have. I highly recommend Jon's services, as he is an exceptional "dog guru".
