CrackerJack was quick to respond when I requested for the removal of wood fencing. They arrived the next day after I explained the task. An employee evaluated the job and quoted me for 1 1/2 trucks, which would cost $1024. I chose to start with one truck first and evaluate the job after. However, upon completion of the first truck, they claimed that it did not make any significant progress in removing the fencing. I wished that they would have shown me the contents of the truck, especially for bigger projects. The team then informed me that they needed two trucks, which would cost $1296. Due to lack of space in the second truck, they left the job site and returned later to complete the second truck. They had to stop the job again to dump the contents of the two trucks before loading another one. They stated that time was running out and that they would need another two trucks to finish the job. I was getting anxious about the constant changes in the quote and timeline. Consequently, I had to call another company to finish the job. They came with a pick-up truck and removed the remaining fencing in one go! I feel that the cost escalated swiftly from 1 1/2 trucks to four trucks, and it seemed like there was a bait-and-switch tactic involved.
