Our outdated 1960's basement bathroom underwent a complete renovation by Behm Contracting, and we are thrilled with the final outcome. The before and after pictures show the instant transformation we envisioned. Everything in the bathroom, except for the door and window, was demolished and replaced. Behm Contracting's team handled the removal of the wallpaper border, re-mudding, and texturing the walls. They also stripped the shower area down to the studs, added new insulation, framed for grab bars, completed plumbing, installed new wallboards, and waterproofed everything. The new tiles, shower corner shelves, beveled window ledge, and fixtures look fantastic, as does the new flooring, baseboards, vanity, mirror, and lights. The ceiling light, exhaust fan, and heat vent cover plate were all replaced, and the walls and ceiling were painted. Daily oversight was essential to ensure that the quality standards and needs we wanted were met. Jacob Behm provided excellent oversight of his team, stopping by every few days, responding to our texts and calls promptly, and resolving any issues to our satisfaction. The detailed fixed-price contract was adhered to, and proof of insurance was provided before the project began. The site was kept clean, with all debris, tools, and excess supplies removed at the end of the project. We are grateful to everyone who worked on the remodel project, including Joe for demolition, Rich for tiling and flooring, Reynaldo for plumbing expertise and wall texturing, and Jacob for his oversight and customer service. The final product looks great, and we highly recommend Behm Contracting!
