Experience:- With over 20 years of professional ATP tennis experience, I am a skilled player currently ranked in the top 20 nationally.
- As a D1 Tennis Player and Team Captain, I have honed my tennis abilities while developing valuable leadership qualities.
- With 10 years of coaching experience, I have provided guidance to players of all ages and abilities.
- I have served as a Head Coach at both the NYAC and Gorin Tennis Academy.
- From my youngest student, a three-year-old, to my oldest student, an 85-year-old, I have tailored my coaching to each player's individual needs.
- As an actively playing coach, I occasionally participate in tournaments both with my students and individually.
- My experience in competitive hitting allows me to assist players of all levels.
Coaching Philosophy:
I believe in creating a customized coaching experience that is tailored to each player's specific needs and goals. I take the time to assess each player's skills, playing style, and characteristics before developing a coaching strategy that meets their expectations.
About Me:
I began playing tennis at age five and have never stopped expanding my skills. I was a member of the Russian National Team and had the opportunity to practice with a former Rolland Garros Champion. Additionally, I have provided hitting and coaching assistance for top-level Junior and Adult players from the ATP and ITF world tours.
Court Locations:
I am available to serve players in the South Bay, San Francisco, and Santa Cruz areas.

Finding a competent tennis instructor proved to be quite challenging, particularly since it seemed that nobody in LA could effectively teach the technical aspects of the sport. However, Salikh was an exception to the rule. Thanks to his extensive knowledge and ability to explain the intricacies of tennis, I was able to significantly improve my skills in just a month and a half of training (despite playing with other individuals for a year prior). As a result of his tutelage, I am now participating in USTA tournaments.
