About
With 25 years of experience in entertainment management, program coordination, and vocal/piano coaching, LaTishia boasts an extensive background. She is currently completing her B.A. in Arts Administration from Westminster Choir College, located in Princeton, NJ. LaTishia's experiences surpass many musicians, having performed at renowned music venues such as Lincoln Center, The Metropolitan Opera House, Carnegie Hall, Newark Symphony Hall, and NJPAC. She has shared the stage with notable gospel artists such as Shirley Ceasar, Donald Malloy, and many others. Additionally, LaTishia has starred in numerous Gospel Music Theatrical Productions and served as musical director for each. Her ability to transform voices and improve hearing abilities has earned her the title of "The Miracle Worker."

LaTishia's method for teaching ear training is what sets her apart from others. She believes that understanding the way we comprehend sound in relation to our voice is crucial. A strong foundation in vocal placement, specifically head tones, chest tones, and nasal sound, is key to achieving a great voice. LaTishia stresses the importance of classical training as it protects the voice from damage caused by harsh singing without proper training. She is driven to get the best out of each individual and firmly believes in the motto "Practice, Practice, Practice."

A huge thank you to Edu@Home! Like many others, my fourth-grader has been struggling with the new virtual reality of online classes, little socialization, staying focused, keeping up with independent work. It was frustrating for both of us as he needed assistance that I couldn't provide. However, since receiving tutoring from Edu@Home, there has been a drastic improvement in his academic performance. It's refreshing to hear positive feedback from his teacher for a change. I appreciate how his tutor has made learning fun by integrating his interests in comic books and Ninja Turtles into Math and Reading lessons. I'm proud of my son's progress in such a short time and it's rewarding as a parent to be able to support him.

Greetings, I am Desteny and I receive tutoring alongside my sister from the outstanding Edu@Home Care Support Tutor. At the ages of 14 and 6 respectively, we have had a superb experience thus far! The educators are exceptional individuals who allow us to learn comfortably at our own pace, without any pressure or hurried expectations - even in a virtual class setting. Their kindness and assistance have been immensely appreciated. Though we have only had a few sessions with our CST, we have already acquired a wealth of knowledge.
