Matthew Chenoweth Music

My goal is to help you start playing guitar easily and quickly by simplifying the overwhelming confusion of guitar playing. Let me know what you want to get out of playing and we can set achievable goals that will make the learning process fun, interesting, and progress efficiently.

My own passion for music started from a young age and I learned how to play music through attending various schools and training until finally graduating from Harvard. I have signed my own record contract, produced nine albums and performed on countless others. I am currently teaching promising students and am proud to have developed Mia Green's music which is now available on spotify and iTunes. Furthermore, I continue to play more than 100 events every year, in various musical styles including Honky Tonk, Rock, British Invasion, Country and Jazz- where I continue to learn while I teach.

I started teaching almost 15 years ago and have since gained experience through word of mouth and with repeat students, but am eager to take on new ones. Let me show you how easy and fun it is to learn an instrument.

Please note: I provide in-house lessons and I will bring the music to you.
I am also available to teach other instruments including bass, drums, and piano, as well as performance and music theory.
Lastly, I manage bands for events and parties, and record and produce music.
