About
Since 2011, I have been providing enjoyable and individualized guitar lessons to both children and adults. I understand that learning an instrument takes time, effort, and finances, but with my experience and passion for teaching, I can guide you or your child on a fulfilling musical journey! Having studied guitar at Berklee College of Music and with years of experience teaching private lessons, rock band classes, music theory workshops, and songwriting clinics, I can teach acoustic and electric guitar for rock, classic rock, heavy metal, and pop styles. Additionally, I offer lessons on music theory, ear training, improvisation, soloing, songwriting, and basic music production. Advanced pupils seek me out to boost their knowledge of the fretboard, which I fuel by teaching music theory, scales, arpeggios, ear training, and improvisation. Besides, I make personalized exercises and materials to accommodate various techniques.
Beginner students will find encouragement and enthusiasm with me. While it may not always be easy at first, I coach and motivate my students to persevere and reach their goals.

Steph is an impressive guitarist and an excellent instructor, not to mention an absolute delight to spend time with while learning how to play the guitar. Despite the obstacles of the pandemic, we collaborated closely both in-person and remotely. Steph is truly remarkable! When I first considered taking music lessons through Zoom, I had some reservations. However, she masterfully made it extremely enjoyable. I have gained a lot of knowledge in just a few lessons. Her wealth of expertise is impressive! Prior to enrolling in her classes, I visited her Facebook page, and I was extremely impressed! Steph has a genuine passion for teaching guitar to young children, and our 9-year-old son eagerly anticipates his weekly lessons with her.
