Luis Carrion

Greetings! My name's Luis Carrion, a professional musician playing both bass and guitar. My roots come from New York, but I've found my new home in LA. I've been performing, recording, and teaching music for 8 years in a vast array of genres like Salsa, Blues, Latin Jazz, and more.

I've been playing bass for 11 years and guitar for 13. Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with the likes of Marc Anthony, Cabo Frio, and illustrious salsa legends Ismael Miranda and Charlie Aponte. Moreover, I've had the opportunity to study from accomplished instructors worldwide, such as jazz guitarist Bob Sneider (Eastman School of Music), saxophonist Doug Stone (Lousiana State University), and bassist Fumi Tomita (Boston Conservatory).

Not only that, but I can read and write music. I fell in love with music at the young age of 2 and have a profound ardor for teaching and sharing my acquired knowledge with aspiring musicians. Salutations!
