About
Working with singers of all ages and skill levels, including beginners, brings me great enjoyment. Although I'm still relatively new to Miami, I've already opened a successful voice studio. Prior to this, I shared my expertise in voice, repertoire, and coaching with individuals privately and through teaching positions at the Universidad Nacional in Bogota, the Escuela Nacional de Arte Lirica in Montevideo, and in New York City.

My professional background as a singer in concert, opera, and musical theater heavily influences my teaching approach. I focus on developing a natural, effortless way of singing while building strong technique, interpretation skills and more. I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and ideas with others, and find great joy in the teaching experience.

Initially, I had doubts, but upon taking some of his classes, you quickly notice that he's well-versed and has his pupils' best interests at heart. If I knew someone who required direction in singing, I would recommend Lewis.

My initial experience with Lewis was fantastic and I'm eager to continue with more sessions! I admire his method and teaching approach, as he can accurately identify areas of improvement and provide helpful feedback to enhance your vocal abilities. I felt at ease under his tutelage and was unafraid to make mistakes, try out innovative techniques or encounter vocal challenges. There was zero criticism from him during our lessons. I was pleasantly surprised by his ability to gently remind me of the minor details that can lead to healthy habits for my voice without being overwhelming or distracting. I would strongly recommend Lewis to anyone who wants to enhance their vocal instrument.
