Due to my mother's mobility issues, I had to find a handrail for her home. There was a single built-in step leading to the walkway from the front porch, which demanded my attention. My search for pre-fabricated solutions on online platforms and Etsy seemed promising initially, but there were limitations. I needed a centerline railing that wouldn't obstruct the movement of large items like furniture and appliances. Therefore, I opted for a custom solution and contacted Al. I shared a rough photograph of what I was looking for, and he gave me a quote. As compared to the pre-fabricated solutions, Al's custom solution was not exorbitantly priced. Though I had to wait a bit due to his backlog, Al delivered an excellently fabricated and installed, functional handrail. He even painted the install lag bolts' heads to match the rail without any reminders. Overall, it was a great experience, and if I require any custom work in the future, Al would be my first choice for a quote.
