About
The offerings in my sessions include Vinyasa Yoga, which I attained through 200 and 30-hour trainings at Kula Yoga Project, Thai Yoga for assisted stretching, which I learned through Two Souls Massage training, Meditation instruction that I received while attending retreats with Wat Suan Mokkh and IMS, and Birth doula support, which I received through DONA training and Living Womb mentorship. My observation of the intimate relationship between movement and mood has motivated me to delve deeper into yoga, which is a powerful tool for growth. My aim is to help individuals develop a healthy relationship with their own bodies and minds, as well as with others and the planet. As such, my sessions are tailored to meet individual needs. Whether seeking a fast-paced, high-intensity vinyasa flow class with pranayama or a more grounded session with Thai yoga and assisted stretches plus guided meditation, I provide what serves best in the moment.
Under the direction of Nikki Vilella, Magi Pierce, Nikki Costello, and Jillian Turecki, I completed my 200-hour teacher training and 30-hour Bridge Training at Kula Yoga Project, while my 60-hour Thai Yoga training was with Al Turner II of Two Souls Thai Massage. My future goal is to become certified in prenatal Vinyasa and Thai yoga, as I have recently started working as a birth doula.

My experience working with Holly Heidt has been nothing but positive. I have participated in numerous group classes and had the pleasure of taking several private lessons with her. Holly's energy is both supportive and motivating, creating a calm environment that inspires me to achieve my best. With each session, it is evident that Holly takes time to thoroughly prepare, as no two classes are ever the same. Her passion and integrity for her craft shine through in her teaching, leaving me feeling accomplished and energized after each session. Not only is Holly an exceptional instructor, but she is also an admirable individual. She has a way of making you feel motivated to attend class, even on your toughest days. Holly is an exceptional yoga instructor. After attending her class a few years back, I've become a regular, often taking her class once a week. I'm simply hooked. Holly's approach is gentle and thoughtful, and she's a master at selecting cool music. Her voice is low and soothing, making it easy to get lost in the class, even as she has us performing challenging poses like balancing, twisting, and building strength. Her style caters to all levels, and each session includes inversions, such as handstand or forearm stand, as well as simple resting positions with legs up the wall. As a dancer, Holly moves gracefully, and she often incorporates poetry, providing adjustments and a gentle massage during the rest phase at the end of class. After each class, I feel invigorated with a sense of freshness in my mind and body.

Holly possesses exceptional skills as a yoga/meditation tutor. I engage in private yoga sessions with her virtually. She carefully customizes each class to match my level and current requirements. Her instructions are lucid, and she's proficient in gauging my physical posture precisely. The amendments she suggests are easily comprehensible and accurate. She exudes positivity and enthusiasm, which make the sessions even more enjoyable.

For almost 15 years, I have been consistently practicing yoga, and for the last three years, I have regularly attended Holly's classes. Her serene disposition, insightful touch, and encouraging outlook always put my overworked New Yorker mind and muscles at ease. My buddies and I anticipate Holly's class every week and evaluate every other instructor and session against her unparalleled expertise.
