Performance Painting

When referring contractors to meet final inspection or appraisal conditions, a Realtor's reputation is at risk. I recently spoke with Brad, who came across as friendly and knowledgeable. His company's scope of work appeared to meet the Owner's needs, so I hired them to complete the job within my tight deadline. The job required addressing chipping paint to adhere to FHA guidelines, and Brad's company promised to power wash, prime, and paint on the agreed-upon date of 4/1. However, when the painter showed up, they only painted over the peeling paint without power washing or priming. This was a major disappointment and a source of embarrassment when my client called to ask about the incomplete garage. When I contacted Brad about the issue, his response was, "Essentially we've done what we said we were going to do," which was not satisfactory. My priority was to close on the house, and I was left scrambling to fix the subpar job before the final inspection. Needless to say, I am extremely dissatisfied with the outcome.

My house was inspected by them, but unfortunately I did not receive a quotation. I suggest opting for a different company.

Throughout the entire project, project manager Jeff communicated effectively, ensured the team had the necessary supplies, and confirmed my satisfaction. Isidro and Angie painted and stained beautifully and made sure I approved of the colors. They also cleared away all sand and dust from the refinishing, and were unobtrusive despite the project's scope. I will certainly call upon them for future painting needs.
