Initially, I had my heart set on a city hall wedding when my partner and I discussed tying the knot. After researching "Boston elopement photographers," I stumbled upon Lindsey’s portfolio and was smitten with her style months before the engagement. Although we eventually strayed from our original plan and opted for a restaurant wedding in Cambridge with approximately 80 people, we were still keen on having Lindsey as our photographer. Even before finalizing the date and location, we made sure to book Lindsey as our first vendor following our introductory Zoom call. Fortunately, our wedding package also included an engagement shoot, and I am grateful we took the opportunity. Our shoot with Lindsey helped us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. While many people worry about appearing awkward in photographs, particularly for wedding-related pictures, it was a genuine concern for us since we are not particularly romantic or affectionate as a couple. Nevertheless, Lindsey managed to keep us laughing throughout the shoot, even if most of it was at our own expense. The resulting pictures perfectly captured our personalities - while we may not be romantic, we undoubtedly have a blast together. Lindsey, along with her second shooter Brian, were an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day. Right from when they arrived, they created a relaxed atmosphere, and Lindsey took on the task of running the day and keeping us on schedule. The locations she selected for our photographs were stunning, and we appeared to have traveled all over the city, when in reality, we only went a few blocks. Her talent for spotting beautiful architecture makes her an excellent choice for city weddings. Thanks to Lindsey and Brian, everything went smoothly throughout the day. They understood the significance of photographs to us, stepped back when picture fatigue set in, captured our furry friend from every possible angle during the ceremony, ensured that we (and our families) laughed all day, and even managed to dance while continuing to take pictures. Our guests were effusive in their praise of how fantastic they both were, and our nieces (aged 10, 9, and 7) still rave about how much fun they had with them. We enjoyed working with Lindsey, and we highly recommend her. Our wedding was purely magical, and Lindsey captured the magic and emotions of the day beyond our wildest dreams.
