My son, who is 5 years old, has flourished under the tutelage of Teacher Joe. With his engaging violin instruction, patience, and kindness, Joe's gifts have enabled my son to excel. While I sit in on the lessons, I too have gained a great deal of useful information from our time together; however, my son remains the superior violinist. It is worth noting that Joe is an excellent teacher for students of all ages.

Since November 2019, I have had the privilege of working with Joseph. Despite not having taken lessons since the age of 18, now being in my 50's, Joseph has helped me rework my right and left hand techniques, as well as the way I hold the viola. His approachable and light-hearted manner, combined with his extensive experience, insight, and competence, makes him the ideal coach for me. Joseph believes in a holistic approach, emphasizing the importance of mechanics and how they feel to achieve great playing. He reminds me that even highly accomplished players review the fundamentals. Joseph's unwavering support and encouragement have inspired me to have more confidence in myself and my playing abilities, and strive towards becoming a better musician.

Joe's approach to teaching, his endless patience and encouragement, and his ability to inspire our son, made him an outstanding violin teacher. For the initial three years, Joe was our son's violin teacher until we regretfully relocated to a different state. Our child blossomed under Joe's tutelage, and has since achieved a remarkable level of performance as a violinist. This progress can be attributed to Joe's contagious inspiration and the excellent foundation he established during those first three years of violin instruction.
