Hello, my name is Melinda, and as a professional singer and voice teacher with over 15 years of experience, I offer both online and in-person lessons to singers of all levels across the globe. I am proficient in singing an array of genres, ranging from opera to R&B, musical theatre, and pop, having received classical training and completed my Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. With my proficient knowledge of a time-tested technique, I prioritize ensuring healthy singing for everyone while offering lessons in over ten languages and conversational proficiency in Spanish and French.

My approach to teaching is student-centered, encouraging and personalized for all genres, complemented with other helpful techniques such as audition preparation, sight-singing, music history, and performance readiness for a richer experience. With my uplifting guidance, my students have gained admission to prestigious vocal programs and attained lead parts on stages nationwide. Along with my teaching responsibilities, I am also a music professor and professional singer.
