A Kinder’s Garden

Hello! I'm Jassana Isaac-Penn and the following summary serves as my resume. I have a wide range of experience working with individuals of all ages, from infants to adults. Over the past decade, I've held various roles in childcare centers, including Assistant Teacher, Head Teacher, and Substitute Kindergarten Teacher. I was later promoted to Assistant Director at a home-based day care. In addition, I've taught ESL online and served as a K-12 Art Teacher overseas in Brazil. As a founder of ArtsieSelf, LLC, my team and I offer paint and sip events for adults. While I have a BFA in Art Education K-12 and have spent over a decade teaching preschool, being a mother for the past four years has been the most rewarding experience. My sons, Shire and Suede, are ages 4 and 2, respectively, and enjoy learning. They inspire me to help other moms and their little ones engage in activities other than watching television. Currently, I'm pursuing an MA in Early Childhood Birth-2nd Grade degree at CUNY Brooklyn College to enhance my knowledge and become a licensed online preschool.
