Little Heart Piano Studio

Greetings to Little Heart! I am Shuya Hsieh, hailing from Taiwan. My love for music started at a tender age of four. Since I was about ten, I have taken part in multiple piano and flute competitions and won accolades for my performances. A moment of pride for me was when I represented my country at the Mozart Music Festival in Italy. I pursued my music education in Taiwan and earned a Master's degree in piano performance and music education. My major is piano performance, while flute is my minor. Apart from teaching piano, flute, and music theory, I am also a professional piano accompanist. I have a good command of church music, both on piano and flute.

I hold the certification of MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) and am a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). I am also a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers (American College of Musicians).

My forte is teaching intermediate to advanced level piano students, and I am equally adept at training beginners. I am experienced in teaching flute students who are eight years and above.
