As a general contractor, my client desired a mural of blue skies with clouds on their indoor pool ceiling. Fortunately, I discovered Hayley who proved to be a fantastic collaborator from day one. After presenting our client's vision to her, Hayley and her team flawlessly executed the project as requested. The outcome was nothing short of awe-inspiring, leaving our client extremely satisfied. Hayley Ferreira is an artist with a keen awareness of her clients' vision, while utilizing her vast experience, skills, and knowledge to create exceptional murals. Her work exudes sensitivity and elegance, elevating an ordinary space into an extraordinary piece of art. In San Francisco, I possessed an upstairs bedroom with cathedral walls, and I desired to decorate one of them with an ancient Roman fresco called "Primavera di Stabiae" from the Pompeii region. Through the "Find-a-Muralist" website, I came in contact with Hayley Ferreira of Ferreira Designs, and upon researching some of her works online, I communicated my wants and needs to her. Hayley Ferreira was an absolute delight! She visited my house and carefully examined the 12-foot-high space that I wished to be decorated. Hayley reviewed my printouts of the fresco image, took measurements and photographs, and attentively listened to my desired outcome. She recommended various painting materials and options, suggested using limestone paint to maintain the antique vibe of the original fresco, and adapted the design to suit my needs, such as adjusting it around fixtures and doors. Our discussion of prices was honest and candid, with Hayley offering a clear idea of what could be created within my budget. She was highly accommodating on the timeframe of the project, and her professionalism and approachability made the process exceedingly easy. The painting took approximately four to five days, during which Hayley and her aide arrived at my home while I was at work. They worked with minimal intrusion, and my cats were never agitated upon my return. The final product was absolutely outstanding! The fresco was striking, vibrant, and ideally fitting for my house and the space provided. It transformed my bedroom into a secluded garden oasis, engulfing it in a lively array of colors. I was especially pleased with Hayley's ability to capture the cracking and fading of the original fresco. I also requested that Hayley paint my dresser in harmony with the fresco, and the results were marvelous. The "antiqued" garlands on the drawers complemented the fresco perfectly. Working with Hayley Ferreira was a fantastic experience! I highly recommend her to anyone aspiring to elevate their living spaces into timeless works of art.
