Kiarra Young

Mixing together a variety of musical genres, Kiarra Young is a singer-songwriter who incorporates elements of R&B, soul, pop, and Hawaiian into her music. Her influences include musicians such as Tori Kelly, Keahiwai, Kehlani, and Kimie Miner. With her compositions, Kiarra hopes to use music as a tool to help those struggling with mental health issues.

Growing up in Honolulu, HI, a city known for its music legends like Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, Cecilio & Kapono, and Keali’i Reichel, Kiarra was exposed to various genres by her parents from a young age. However, it wasn't until 2019 that she discovered songwriting as an alternate outlet to athletics.

Currently, Kiarra is actively performing around Oahu and Los Angeles to gain experience. Simultaneously, she is completing her last year of undergrad studies in music production at Occidental College while creating her original music pieces.
