Aurora Music Lessons

Since 2011, Evan Pilate has provided private lessons to a diverse clientele across Aurora and Denver. His teaching services are available in his Southeast Aurora studio or at the client's home. With extensive experience in piano instruction, Mr. Pilate has helped students master the piano fundamentals, achieve successful public performances, win local competitions, and enjoy playing for their own enrichment.

Evan Pilate earned his Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from The Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver in 2011. He was trained by renowned instructors such as Steven Mayer, David Genova, and Alice Rybak. After graduating, Mr. Pilate became a certified Suzuki Piano Instructor through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He is passionate about helping newcomers accomplish their goals and applies a customized approach to each student's learning process.

The program includes private one-on-one lessons every week, learning technology for student engagement, and piano study books like Faber Piano Adventures. The studio contains an Essex Grand Piano with player features, an electric keyboard, a music library, a recording library, and WiFi internet. My Music Staff provides scheduling and administrative services. The program also offers several opportunities for students to showcase their skills, including four private recitals every year at either Classic Pianos or Schmitt Music. Clients also gain access to the Aurora Music Teacher’s Association events such as Composition Festival, Four Forms Festival, and Achievement Day.
