I wanted to give this site 10 stars, but unfortunately, they only allow a maximum of 5. I was in search of the perfect teacher for my wife, and after our initial lesson with Chiara, it became evident that she was the ideal choice. Chiara conducts her lessons with utmost professionalism, using a unique document camera to display the exercises in the books, which I haven't seen in any other teacher. In addition to that, she had a conversation with us before commencing our sessions to determine if she would be the best choice for us, considering that we reside in Ireland, which has different cultural practices and pronunciation compared to the United States. This indicates her genuine concern for her students. Concerning her lessons, Chiara prepares every class meticulously, including tailored homework for every student. In our case, Chiara tried to find compelling topics for my wife to explore, like food recipes. My wife enjoyed it, which motivated her to learn new vocabulary. Some of the homework assignments entail audio recordings where Chiara records a dialogue or a question beforehand, and my wife answers some questions with audio recordings as well. Chiara gives feedback regarding each recording - recording her answer as well. The best part of it all is that this occurs outside the class's scheduled time. In summary, Chiara is genuinely invested in her students' education, putting in a lot of effort and attention to help them learn the English language and the US culture. She is also friendly, going above and beyond what one would expect from an English tutor. Enrolling in her class will undoubtedly be a wise decision, as long as you are fortunate enough to get an available spot in her schedule.
