Carter Dye has been a member since 12/20/12 and is based in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon. With over 30 years of experience in repairing and manufacturing exquisite fine jewelry, Carter has delighted customers from all corners of the world. His passion for art and writing led him to design as a hobby at the age of 14 and progressed to become his career. He holds 8 degrees from the Gemological Institute of America and graduated with honors.
Carter's talent for working with metals and stones, sketching unique designs within any budget, and his proficiency in craft are just a small part of his talent. However, he finds that working with clients is the most rewarding aspect of his job. He enjoys creating one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect the wearer's uniqueness and becoming part of a cherished family heirloom.
What sets Carter apart is his ability to work with any medium. He is also one of the few jewelers who can create dream pieces for customers within a realistic budget, unlike most who only work with precious stones and metals.
