Robert has been amazing with my 15 and 17-year-old sons who require extensive tutoring in various subjects, particularly math. He has a clear passion for teaching and exhibits great patience. His distinctive teaching style involves encouraging and attentively listening to his students. Bob's willingness to take a step back and welcome such criticism was something that I truly admired. He saw me - not merely as a student but as an intelligent person with unique learning abilities. In our subsequent meetings, Bob's tremendous compassion for his students became increasingly evident. At the start of each session, he checked in with me on a personal level to ensure that I was doing alright and if there were any concerns that I wanted to address before diving into the lesson. Bob shared stories about his other students whom he taught in person - a mere nine of them - and his eyes were filled with affection. He spoke slowly and patiently, explaining the concepts several times using language that was straightforward and concise. When I expressed frustration with the difficult and convoluted wording found in most math textbooks, Bob passionately agreed with me (much to my amusement and admiration). In conclusion, Bob is a teacher for those who are quick to say, "Oh, math isn't really my thing..." He brightened my day and perhaps even shifted my once staunch aversion to math slightly. If you have made it this far into my lengthy thank-you note, I implore you to seek Bob's wisdom and tutelage - he is truly one of a kind.

Due to missing her eighth grade Algebra class, my daughter needed an urgent math tutor to help her catch up.
