With 22 years of experience playing the cello and my bachelor's and master's degrees from the Juilliard School, teaching is a true passion of mine. Whether in-person or over Skype, I have found great success in teaching cello. During lessons, I prioritize technical skills and collaborate with you to find repertoire that challenges you musically and improves your technical abilities on the cello. As an instructor, I understand that every student is unique and I strive to communicate clearly and honestly to ensure the most productive use of our time together. At my invitation, Jan showcased his talents at Canterbury Shaker Village. As a Trustee, I initiated the Concerts on The Meeting House Green series for the summer of 2020. Jan, who is an exceptional cellist, graced us with his performances on three separate occasions. He even brought along another skilled cellist to elevate the musical experience. Jan demonstrated excellent preparation, punctuality, and an engaging introduction to each piece. He truly left an impression with his remarkable skills!
