As a certified JKD Kickboxing and Wing Chun Kung Fu practitioner, NASM Personal Trainer, and holder of MittWork Pad Holding certification, my specialized training approach appeals to a range of clients. My programs are tailored to four key groups:- Anyone searching for highly engaging, motivating, and weight loss-driven sessions.
- Those seeking self-defense training, discipline, and freedom from fear.
- Individuals struggling with joint dysfunction and ready to commit to fixing their body.
- Intermediate and advanced fighters pursuing sport success.
My 20+ years of martial arts experience and fitness training allow me to create a unique health and wellness program suitable for people of all ages. You'll find me coaching and instructing a diverse range of adults within my SE Portland, Oregon studio throughout the week.
My working hours are flexible with the ability to cater to your schedule, including:
- Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

An hour with Dan was simply not enough! My session with him was incredibly informative and personalized to my specific needs. As someone who tends to overwork myself with multiple jobs, I needed to focus not only on my physical health, but also on my mental well-being. During our session, I learned a multitude of stretches and mini workouts that can be done in just a few minutes. Dan showed me how to target areas that needed strengthening, which was especially helpful given my busy schedule.
My favorite part of the session was the stretching. Dan helped me understand the benefits of stretching and identified which muscle groups we were targeting. As someone who often experiences back, neck, and shoulder pain, I felt significantly more relaxed and rejuvenated by the end of our time together.
I highly recommend Dan - he's a wonderful person who cares about his clients' concerns. His targeted approach means that I never feel like I'm wasting time or money on areas that aren't important to me.
