My duty as your instructor is to guide you in your development as a musician, pianist, and person. Progress requires time and effort from all parties involved, and I am committed to fulfilling my end of our mutual agreement. Our initial conversation will entail an extensive discussion of your piano goals, your prior experience, your future aspirations, and what holds the utmost importance to you within music and life.

Our lessons will cater to your specific needs and desires. We establish short-term, mid-term, and long-term objectives when starting our collaboration, and I utilize my decades of experience to map out a path forward with techniques, materials, and methods.

My students have ranged from beginner to 90 years of age. I believe my most successful undertaking happens when I aid students in discovering and unlocking their latent potential and accomplishing goals they never believed were attainable.

A little about me:

I received multiple degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, including a doctorate, two master's degrees, and a bachelor's degree. Additionally, I hold the distinguished Performer's Certificate, a distinction only provided to one pianist since 2006. I have fifteen years of experience teaching in higher education, with classes encompassing music theory, piano, chamber music, and music history. My approach emphasizes well-rounded musicianship, which has truly influenced my teaching.

Furthermore, I have provided instruction and performed throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. My recordings have graced public television, public radio, and been syndicated across the nation.
