With over 15 years of experience as a chess coach, I have honed my skills in both private and group/classroom settings. As a former national scholastic chess champion and current master rated player, I have the ability to effectively instruct all levels and ages of chess players. Additionally, I have a track record of coaching students for local and national tournaments.Aside from my strong background as a competitor in chess, I possess the expertise to develop unique skills necessary for success in the game. As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, I can assist in advancing emotional regulation, critical thinking, and graceful winning and losing among other crucial assets essential to chess.
Currently, I am offering 45/60/90 minute chess lessons online utilizing platforms such as Zoom, Skype, and chess.com.
