When I was 66 years old, my sister's Cane Corso named Ginger, who weighed over 100 lb., became mine to care for after my sister passed away. I already had a husky mix named Elf, who weighed 60 lb. Ginger is a sweet-tempered dog, but she can be stubborn and strong-willed. During a walk, she once pulled out of my hand to chase a smaller dog down the street. Although she is territorial, and chased the dog off our property, she soon came back to see why I was shouting at her. I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to keep Ginger because of her size and occasional reactive behavior. However, I couldn't bear to give her away, as she is a part of the family. I was afraid that big dogs like her would be hard to adopt, especially if they were abandoned in a shelter. I discovered Calm on CommandK9 and decided to give their dog training program a try. Ginger became non-reactive around people and other dogs on walks, and this training also helped her gain confidence around strangers, especially men and children. Although I remain nervous when walking her in our neighborhood, her calmness helps me stay composed. Moreover, Rosie and RJ from Calm on CommandK9 have been proactive in addressing the issues I had with my two stubborn dogs. Continued training is necessary for pets and their owners, and thanks to Rosie and RJ, I was able to keep Ginger in our home.

There's so much praise to give to Calm on Command K9 and their dedicated owners and trainers, RJ and Rose. Fitch, a 2 1/2 year old Rottweiler, was left without an owner or a home after her owner suddenly passed away. In addition, Fitch struggled with fear aggression. Thanks to RJ and Rose, Fitch has been able to settle in with them and they even helped her get to the vet for her spaying. Check out their fantastic videos on Instagram! Fitch is now headed to boot camp, and I'm confident that this training will help her reach her full potential and find a forever family.

After sending our aggressive and out of control dog Roger to Calm on Command's four week boot camp, we witnessed a remarkable transformation in his behavior. Thanks to Rosie and Rj, we now enjoy relaxed walks with our furry friend. Their exceptional training skills helped us learn effective communication techniques to control our dog's unruly behavior. We find it amazing that they are passionate about changing the lives of the people and dogs they engage with. Baltimore is fortunate to have such dedicated trainers. Without a doubt, Rosie and Rj are the best in this field. We extend our sincere thanks to them.

Rj and Rosie are an amazing find for us- they possess a vast knowledge, gentle nature, and intense devotion to their work. We contacted them after having difficulties with two other trainers. Our dog Ollie was reactive towards other dogs and individuals while on a leash, in addition to being timid in front of new people. After receiving training at bootcamp with Rj and Rosie, Ollie was entirely new; her reactions ceased, and she became more confident around new people. The obedience our dog now possesses is frequently complimented, and she is capable of remaining calm on command. We wholeheartedly believe that Rosie and Rj are the best trainers in town- you won't find anyone better suited for the job.

. My Akita, Larry, had difficulty interacting with other dogs and people, making grooming and leaving him with others close to impossible. Despite trying various training classes and one-on-one attention, we saw no progress. However, RJ's dog training program changed our lives. It's incredible to watch Larry's progress through the remote training videos. We only regret not finding RJ sooner. Thank you for loving Larry and demonstrating it through the hugs and kisses you give him. Your team truly understands the essence of a dog as a friend, not an "asshole." The love and care provided by RJ and team are unmatched.
