The movers arrived promptly and were friendly, but I had been quoted for packing, wrapping, navigating stairs, and the move. Upon arriving, I followed their instructions and picked up the Uhaul. Unfortunately, one of the drivers accidentally hit my home with the vehicle, but I didn't make a fuss about it. The supplies they brought consisted of medium-sized boxes from Walmart and foam wrap, without any blankets for protecting furniture or mattress covers. While I had informed them before booking that I lived on the 3rd floor and expected a warm day, I was surprised to find that they took multiple breaks during the move. They began at 1 pm and didn't finish until 11 pm, which left my belongings sitting outside for hours with ants crawling on my furniture. Additionally, my dresser was damaged with a broken leg and drawer, while my wood table had been chipped and scratched. However, they compensated me for the damages and provided a ledger of expenses, excluding the $200 deposit and $125 compensation for the broken leg, which totaled $960. When I asked why I was charged for supplies and wrapping when none were used, except for four Walmart boxes, they refunded me $75. Despite the hard work of the workers, next time I will choose a company that values and protects their customer's property.
