Since the age of 6, the piano has had a profound impact on my life. As an Associate Member of the Piano Technician’s Guild and a skilled player, I continue to be devoted to this instrument every day. My academic background includes a B.A. in Music from the University of South Carolina and a piano tuning and repair certificate from the Minnesota School of Piano Technology. As a certified technician, I provide a range of services, including tuning, regulation, voicing, and on-site repairs. Additionally, I am qualified to install Dammp-Chaser humidity control systems.

John Clayton, the representative of Lowertown Piano, demonstrated an evident commitment to excellence in the work he performed for me. He responded promptly to my service request and arrived punctually to carry out the job. His expertise regarding the maintenance of pianos was thorough and extensive. Following his tuning of my piano, I was de-lighted to find that it sounded as good as new. Additionally, I requested that he install a damp chaser humidifier to ensure that the instrument remains at an appropriate humidity level. I am exceedingly satisfied with the service provided and highly recommend Lowertown Piano.

My piano was a challenge for everyone else, but he was able to fix it. He's incredibly prompt in his replies, arrives exactly when he promises, and has a very reasonable pricing scheme. Tuning my piano is no easy task, but he manages to do it twice a year flawlessly. I have no intention of seeking help elsewhere.
