Weasel Bleu

For just over 2 months now, my teenage son has been receiving lessons from Andrew on upright bass. During these lessons, I try to remain scarce, but from what I have witnessed and what my son has told me, it seems that Andrew is a kind and patient instructor who creates a comfortable learning environment for my son, which is particularly appreciated given the potentially daunting memories any of us who had harsh music teachers as kids can recall. I am particularly impressed with Andrew's thoroughness in revisiting concepts and ensuring that my son grasps them before moving on to new ones; this is undoubtedly helping to lay a strong foundation for my son. He had been playing the upright bass on his own for over a year and is now relishing the music theory that Andrew is providing him. Every week, my son comes away from lessons in a great mood, feeling as though he is improving and making progress. Overall, I am delighted with the positive experience my son is having with Andrew, and would happily recommend him to anyone.
