Funerals/Celebrations of life: With the utmost care and sensitivity, I will conduct your funeral or celebration of life, from the commencement to the graveside service. I will work with you to author a heartfelt eulogy and motivate any family members or friends who wish to speak, or I can deliver the message on behalf of your family if requested. I will diligently consult with designated family representatives to learn all that I can about the person who has passed. Your loved one will be remembered and celebrated in accordance with your cultural beliefs, or I can design a non-denominational ceremony that honors your loved one and respects all present. Carrie stepped in as our wedding officiant at the eleventh hour when our original choice had to cancel. Her thoughtful questionnaire helped us to articulate our desires for the ceremony, and she generously offered suggestions when we were uncertain. With her bright and easygoing personality, Carrie made the process enjoyable and stress-free. We trusted her to add her own creative touches to the ceremony, and the results were even better than we could have imagined. Our wedding on May 12th, 2012 was an absolutely perfect day thanks to Carrie's wonderful officiating. She is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a skilled and personable wedding officiant. Carrie's loving, tolerant and open nature, combined with her wealth of experience, exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. Carrie proved to be an absolute blessing as she officiated our wedding in Oakland. Despite our impulsive decision to marry after being together for years, she seamlessly personalized our at-home ceremony in front of our loved ones on very short notice. Carrie prepared a list of pertinent questions for both of us to answer so that she could include intricate details of our relationship in the ceremony. Her phrasing of our relationship and her expert suggestions for the event were concise, professional, and entirely accurate.
